Mr. Thomas Payne died at his home on Charles street, Friday morning at 5 o'clock, after a lingering illness of typhoid fever, aged 27 years. He is survived by his wife and three small children. The funeral will take place Saturday evening from the Baptist church at 10 o'clock, services conducted by Rev. R. A. Williams. Interment in City Cemetery.
