Michael A. York, 57, of Bedford died at 8:48 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 21, 1963 in Bedford, IN he was the son of Manson and Brenda York. He married Anna Marie May and she survives. He worked as a fabricator and painter for Sigma Steel and Mica Metals.
Survivors include his wife Anna Marie York of Bedford; three sons: Joshua A. York, Isaiah E. York, and Joseph D. York all of Bedford; his father, Manson York of Bedford; three brothers: James E. York of Bedford, Larry D. York and wife Elizabeth of Bedford, and Roy D. York and fiancé Crystal L. Smith of Bedford; one sister, Norma Mayle of Spencer; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:15pm on Friday, February 5th at the Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ferrell “Bucky” Charles officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until noon on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are required. Attendance is limited to 50 people at a time.
