Wilma Joyce Hodges, 79, of Amarillo died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.

Mrs. Hodges was born in Blevins, Ark. She was a longtime resident of Lazbuddie. She and her husband farmed in Lazbuddie for 56 years. She was a resident of Amarillo for the past six years.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tommie Faye Walter of Dumas.

Survivors include her husband, William Volley; a son, Larry William Hodges of Farmington, Ark.; a daughter, Linda Joyce Sofijczuk of Amarillo; a sister, Francis Kidd of Hope, Ark.; six grandchildren, Hank Walters, Deedee Deeter, Stacie Whatley, Lance Frazier, Garry Hodges and Eddie Joe Hodges; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 1300 Westcliff Parkway No. 22 in Amarillo.
