Mr. A.C. Greenlee, former Agriculture High School Teacher, businessman and Soil Conservation Service employee, passed away on December 24th at the Kilmichael Hospital following a short illness.
He was married to the former Corinne Kent and to this union was born two daughters, Miss Janet Greenlee of Memphis, Tenn. and Mrs. Kenneth Locke, Jr. of New Albany, Miss. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Roy Tyler of Jackson, Miss. and two grandchildren, David Locke and Janet Locke.
Mr. Greenlee was 72 years of age, a life-long resident of Montgomery County, a sincere Christian and a devoted father. He was associated 19 years with the Kilmichael High School as Vocational Agriculture Teacher and in recent years was employed by the U.S. Government Soil Conservation Service. He was a 1930 graduate of the former Mississippi A&M College at Starkville, Miss.
Mr. Greenlee's life will be a Memorial to his Family, his church and to his community in that his Moral virtues were known by everyone.
