Barbara Till, 88, of Victoria Gardens, DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully March 27, 2018 after a long illness. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 9, 1929, she graduated from Elmhurst High School and Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. She served as an RN at Lutheran and Fort Wayne State School until she devoted herself fulltime to caring for her family. As a skilled seamstress she made many special occasion dresses for her daughters and granddaughters and her fruit pies and sticky buns were in high demand. Later in life she became an accomplished watercolor artist. She was a hospice volunteer for many years. She is survived by George, her husband of 65 years, her sister Betty, six children, James, Ann, Jeffrey, David, Regina, and John, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Her funeral Mass will be April 14, 10:00am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 359 W. New York Ave., DeLand, Fl.
