BYRNE, Robert Leroy of Houston. Age 79. Died 4/29/1987 in a Houston hospital after a brief illness. His body was given to science. Memorial services held (Monday) 5/11/1987 in the chapel of George M. Lewis and Sons, of Houston. Rev. Grady Hallonquist and the Rev. Bill Poe officiated. Services were postponed until Mrs. Bryne's brother, Norman Clement and his son, Nelson Clement, returned to the states from abroad. Newton Butts of Thorndale was a cousin of "Bob" Byrne.

Robert was BORN 10/18/1907.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Emma Pearl Clement Byrne of Houston; son, Robert N. Byrne of Cleveland, OH.; 2 grandsons, Bruce and Norman Byrne; granddaughter, Catherine Byrne.

(Although his body was donated to science, I feel it is fitting to place his memorial in the Milano cemetery as his mother, Mary Emma Newton Byrne, is buried here as well. SLT)
