WILLIAM S. CORNELL
William Stephens Cornell, 73, of 636 N. Willow Ave., Rialto, died Saturday in a San Bernardino hospital. A native of Harper, Kan., he had lived in Rialto three months and California nine years.
He was a retired farmer. A member of the Rock Hounds of Ridgecrest, he at one time taught lapidary work there.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Theresa T. Cornell; a son, Leon Stephens Cornell of Illinois, and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Marie Cronwell of Geneva. Ill. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Ralph Wm. Allen Funeral Home. Rialto. Interment will be in Rialto Park.

He then married Theresa Thelma VanNess in 1947. He died on August 23, 1958, in San Bernardino, California, at the age of 73, and was buried in Rialto, California.
