Carl Henry Shubert was born on March 5, 1940, in Whitehouse, Texas, to Frank William Shubert and Edith Maebell Shubert. At the age of five, Carl moved to an orphanage in Fairfield, Texas, and lived there until he turned 15. He later joined the US Army. On July 6, 1958, he married the love of his life Janette Richardson, and they were married 62 years. Carl worked for Dallas Airmotive for 25 years as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and hanging out with his hunting buddies. Carl and Janette were active members at Faith Community Baptist Church. He passed away on October 5, 2020. Carl was survived by his son, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a sister and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years Janette; sons Billy Shubert and Chris Reynolds; sisters Fern Selix, Geraldine Van Sickle, and Pat Clemons; and brother Jackie Rainey.
