They lost a 4-day-old infant son in February 1908, who is buried in Lake Cemetery, rural Republic Co., KS, and had a son Elbert J. Galusha, born March 11, 1910, in Seattle, WA. After Jewel's death on January 21, 1926, in Seattle, WA, Mabel H. Galusha married her second husband, Bernard J. White, on June 25, 1934.
