The following information is from the written record of Ontario, Canada, Toronto Trust Cemeteries (Prospect Cemetery):

Alonzo Swain, age 42 (Born in the United States), died at Toronto General Hospital on November 30, 1915. Marital status was "married". Disease was myocarditis.
His remains were interred on December 2, 1915 at "Adult Single Grave No. 4168". Ground property of Mrs. Isabella Swain. Medical Attendant: J.D.H.W. Barrett. Officiating minister: Dr. Aiken. Name and address of nearest relative: Mrs. Swain, 28 Church Street. Undertaker: Bates and Dodds.

Mr. Swain was born in 1869 in Lockport New York, the son of Nelson and Rachel (Dickerson) Swain.
He married Isabella Sutherland Castlemaine, one of the world famous "Seven Sutherland Sisters".
The Sutherland Sisters were well known vaudeville actors, singers, but were best known for their successful marketing of "Seven Sutherland Sisters Hair Grower".
Most of the sisters had hair in excess of six feet long.

Mr. Swain marketed "Swains Hair Tonic" from the headquarters of Swain Medical Company in Kansas City Missouri.

Mr. Swain's first wife (Isabella Sutherland Castlemaine Swain) died in 1914 and is entombed in the Castlemaine mausoleum in Glenwood Cemetery in Lockport, N.Y.

It appears that Mr. Swain remarried shortly before he died.
Ontario marriage records show that he married Isabell Ellis (a spinster) on April 14, 1915. That marriage certificate indicates that his parents were Nelson and Rachel (Dickerson) Swain.
