Eula Mae Akridge Crews, age 79, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on November 9, 2018. Eula Mae was born in Douglas, Georgia on September 5, 1939 to the late Broward and Mary Akridge. She was the eldest daughter of ten children. Eula Mae married James A. Crews on September 5, 1964, and celebrated 54 years of marriage. Eula Mae has two children Marcia (Floyd) Howell and Daniel Crews, along with two step-sons Michael Crews and the late Mark Crews. She was the proud grandmother of Michelle (David) Stearns, April (Roy) Waters, James Lee Crews, and Kevin Howell. She also loved being a great-grandmother to her five great-grandkids.

Eula Mae is preceded in death by her parents Broward and Mary Akridge; and three brothers Dick, Edward, and E.L. Akridge. She is survived by her husband, James A. Crews; children Marcia and Daniel; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Edgar, Allen, and Emmett Akridge; sisters Alma Packham, Elaine Crawford, and Jean Readyhough; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Jim Clendenen and Allen Crawford will serve as officiants. The family will receive friends one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park.
