Helen was married to Jess L. Holley on June 24, 1950 in Pasadena, California.

Helen's home at the time of her death was 594 E. Orange Grove Ave., Pasadena, California. Two months after her marriage Helen was involved in a collision of automobiles on August 31, 1950 at about 8:10 p.m. Taken to the the Huntington Memorial Hospital, 100 Congress St., in Pasadena she passed away from her multiple injuries at 9:45 p.m at the age of 49.

Turner & Stevens Co. were in charge of the funeral arrangements and on September 5th she was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery.
