Kenneth Lynn Keeler, age 79, a Coalgate resident was born on August 20, 1941, to Carl Allen and Clara Reginald (Long) Keeler, at Coal County, OK. Kenneth passed away on January 24, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Coalgate Schools & some college. Kenneth was a Chief in the Navy as an Engine Operator for 20 years. After retirement, he went on to work as a Civil Contractor with the Air Force. Upon moving back to the Coalgate area, he worked at the McAlester Ammunition Plant. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War earning a Combat Action Ribbon while attached to Coastal Squadron One (Swift Boats).

Kenneth married Jocelyn Malis Amayag on December 21, 1976, at Subic Zambales, Philippines.

He was a Master Mason & of the Baptist Faith. Kenneth enjoyed a lot of fishing with his wife, Jocelyn.
