Floyd Burchfield married Ollie L. May on Oct. 29, 1905 in Garland Co., Arkansas. They had 2 children, Felix Monroe Burchfield and Ardennia Burchfield. After Floyd's death in 1911, his widow Ollie remarried to Alexander Blanton "Alex" Newcomb on Nov. 19, 1911 in Clark Co., Arkansas. (The marriage license was issued and the certificate recorded in Garland Co., Arkansas but the ceremony was performed in Clark Co., Arkansas per the record - Book R, Page 393).

Floyd Burchfield's place of birth was shown as Montgomery Co., Arkansas on the delayed Birth Certificate for his son Felix Monroe Burchfield. Felix's mother Ollie signed the birth certificate attesting to the information stated on it.
