r. Koert Lewis Blackketter, 86 of McLemoresville, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at his home.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Gideons International or to a Church of your choice.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Trezevant United Methodist Church with Bro. John Williams and Bro. Allen Rainey officiating. Interment will follow in McLemoresville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Blackketter was born April 25, 1934, at Red Star, Oklahoma, to the late Koert C. Blackketter and Nellie Pearl (Studebaker) Blackketter. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life, was a member of the Trezevant United Methodist Church, and served with Gideons International for over 40 years. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Jean Blackketter, one daughter, JoNell Blackketter, two brothers, and two sisters.
