Loyd Hulan Freeman, age 89, of Dover, died Friday, January 22, 2021, at Superior Health and Rehab in Conway. He was born March 22, 1931, in Newton County to Mose and Bessie Gregory Freeman.

He was a member of Ben Hur Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed singing. He was an avid gardener and loved hunting and fishing. His joy in life was his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Mae Freeman; his son, Dennis Loyd Freeman; two brothers, Lowell and Leon Freeman and a sister, Newell Dotson.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Nancy Freeman of Dover; two brothers, William Freeman and Clovis Freeman; a sister, Mary Hamilton; two grandsons and their spouses, Tanner and Jillian Freeman and Logan and Emily Freeman; and four great-grandchildren, Keene Freeman, Braven Freeman, Odin Freeman and Zeke Freeman.

The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021, in Moore Cemetery at Ben Hur with the Rev. Glendon Garrison and the Rev. Scott Garrison officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
