Mr. Cader Warren Holloway, 89, of Thomaston, died Friday, January 22, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center. A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 24th with Pastor Joey Smith officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Holloway was born on December 12, 1931 in Whigham, GA to the late Henry Holloway and Fannie Massey Holloway. He graduated from R.E. Lee in 1948 and then served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic, stationed in North Africa. Following his military service, Mr. Holloway was a prominent local businessman, accountant & the original owner of the local H&R Block office and Holloway Bookkeeping.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jo Ellen Birdsong Holloway of Thomaston; daughters, Karen (Edward) Parker, Karla (Daryl) Ellington, and Kris (Heather) Holloway-Sandefur, all of Thomaston; six grandchildren: Jeremy (Amy) Daniel, Jessica (Sean) Harris, Ashley, Lauren and Austin Lindauer, and Michael Sandefur, all of Thomaston; and four great grandchildren: Sophia and Sawyer Harris, Shaw and Emma Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Warren Holloway at Trinity Baptist Church.
