Rock Hill, South Carolina - Our precious mother, Mrs. Catherine (Cathy) Lee Ferguson, 81, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at MUSC-Lancaster Medical Center.
Mrs. Ferguson was born in Chester, SC, and daughter of the late Doug Lee and the late Louise Cameron Lee. She was a member of Lando Church of God. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her husband, Olin D Ferguson.
Due to the COVID 19, all services will be private for siblings, children and grandchildren. Family and friends wishing to honor Cathy are invited to make a memorial in her name to Alzheimer's Association, Lando Church of God or charity of your choice.
Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her daughter, Tyanne F (Matthew) McDonald of Rock Hill, SC; her son, Chris (Rosemary) Ferguson of Wilmington, NC; her brother, Jessie (Mary Anna) Lee of Chester, SC; and her sister, Jean Davis of Rock Hill, SC. She was known to her three grandchildren as "Me Maw," Alan McDonald, Nicholas Ferguson,and Dylaney Ferguson.
The family would like to thank the staff of Helms-Gordon Residential Care for the outstanding care given to their mother for the past seven years.
