Funeral services for Delbert Pierce, 64, of Monterey, Route 3, were held Sunday, June 10, 1984, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with burial in Wilson Cemetery in Overton County. The Rev. Clayton Padgett and the Rev. Richard Cook officiated.Mr. Pierce died Friday, June 8, 1984, at Cumberland Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Overton County, the son of the late Goldie and Rosie Key Pierce.Survivors include his wife, Joanna Bilbrey Pierce; two sons, Doyle Pierce and Ronnie Pierce; three daughters, Wanda Harris, Linda Cain, and Deborah Pierce; two brothers, Doffie Pierce and Tom Pierce;and four grandchildren, all of Monterey.Goff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
