Eldon D. Boeckner, 68, of Halstead, Kansas, passed away January 22, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born May 26, 1952 in Goessel, Kansas, the son of Wilbur and Dorothy (Giesbrecht) Boeckner.

Eldon attended Moundridge High School.

He was a farmer in Hartley, Texas for many years.

Eldon was a member of Sedgwick Mennonite Church Congregation, Sedgwick, KS.

He was married to Martha Hostetler on November 17, 1972.

Survivors include his son, Jeremy (Karlita) Boeckner of Harvard, Idaho; daughter, Angela (Neal) Brubaker of Loudonville, Ohio; brother, Gary (Karen) Boeckner of Hesston; sisters, Phyllis (Charles) Nightengale of Scott City, and Bonnie (Tim) Wiggers of Halstead; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Heidi Jill Boeckner.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
