Funeral Services Are Held for Mrs. Jones At Dunlap Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel E. Jones were held at the Cummferford-Endsley memorial home in Peoria last Thursday with Rev. William Atkinson Young of the First Presbyterian church, Peoria, officiating. Interment was in Mt. Hawley cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, wife of F. A. Jones, widely known throughout central Illinois, died last Thursday at 2 a. m. at her home in Dunlap. Although she had been in poor health, it was a sudden attack which took her.
She was born May 20, 1872, near Dunlap where she has always lived. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Richard and Eupha Elson Bennett. She was united to Mr. Jones on February 9, 1892, in Peoria.
She was an active member of Radnor Grange No 1158 and her flower gardens were considered outstanding.
Surviving are: her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Hauser of Princeville and Mrs. Vona K. Kennell of Camp Grove; one son, Lloyd A. Jones of Dunlap; an uncle. W. D. Bennett of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Barbara, Patricia, Janet and Richard Jones.
