Aileene M. Zook, 82, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Peoria died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 1991, at East Bay Nursing Center in Largo, Fla.

Born Nov. 27, 1908, in Nashville, Tenn., to Levi and Rhoda Norvell Montgomery, she married Marion W. Zook on June 13, 1930, in St. Charles, Mo. He died on Sept. 1, 1987, in Largo.

She is survived by one brother, Levi Montgomery of Dearborn, Mich.; and two sisters, Jessie Lois Gambill of Clearwater and Bernice Nichols of Stockton, Calif.

She worked for many years as a registered nurse at the former Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville before retiring as assistant chief nurse.

She and her husband also owned and operated Zook Jewelry Supply Co. in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prospect Cemetery in Dunlap, the Rev. David H. Allin officiating. There will be no visitation. Hammitt Funeral Home in Princeville is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
