Chester W. Pullen, 84, of rural Dunlap died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at Parkhill Medical Complex in Chillicothe.
Born Nov. 30, 1912, in Akron Township, Peoria County, to Charles and Minnie Lonsdale Pullen, he married Gladys M. "Toots" Martin on Oct. 19, 1938, in Davenport, Iowa. She died Dec. 2, 1990, in Peoria. His twin brother also preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Ron, Gary and Steve, all of Dunlap.
He was a lifelong farmer in rural Dunlap and was a member of Peoria County Farm Bureau. He served on the Dunlap High School Board for nine years.
Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
