Merle Wheeler James, 83, of Bay Springs, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Antioch Church Cemetery.
She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. James.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Ron Warnock of Canton, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Archie and Connie James of Marietta, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Friday.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, which is in charge of arrangements
