Robert R. “Bob” Boggs, 89, of Winfield, formerly of Arkansas City passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at William Newton Memorial Hospital, in Winfield, due to complications from COVID-19.
Bob retired with military honors after serving in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy Reserve with over twenty years of service. He and his wife Jean were owners of B & J Auto in Arkansas City and later, Bob was an automotive instructor at Cowley County Community College. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Jean Boggs.
Survivors include his beloved cat Cracker, son, Stan (Pat) of Dodge City, daughter, Pam (Ann) of Wichita, 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Due to COVID-19, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield. Cremation has been effected.

Stan and Pam, would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the amazing staff of Cumbernald Retirement Village, and a special thank you to Dr. Vora, Dr. Mancy, and the incredible nurses at William Newton Memorial Hospital for their loving compassion and excellent care.
