Patricia R. “ Pat “ Collier, age 71, a resident of Carpentersville for over 50 years passed away on Monday morning, December 7, 2020 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin surrounded by family. Pat was born on June 20, 1949 in Kenova, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Claude & Theresa Cornwell. On June 11, 1969, Pat married the love of her life and best friend A.J. Collier. A.J. preceded Pat in death on May 2, 2018 after 50 years of marriage. Survivors include her 3 sons; A.J. II (Heather), John and James. Her ten grandchildren; Andrew, Alex, Adam, Cody, Carissa, Evangeline, Joseph, Christopher, Cassidy, Rocco; and one great granddaughter, Evelynn. Other survivors include her sister Sharon and brother John (Karen) along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Pat was preceded in death by her brothers Claude Jr, Edwin “Mike”, Charles “Bill” (Jackie), and sisters Susan and Judith “Judy”.

A Covid-19 safe walk-through visitation will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until time of a private family Funeral Service at 2:30 P.M. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Cary. Masks and social distancing will be required.

For those unable to attend, the church service will be livestreamed at stpeterlcms.org/funerals and a celebration of life picnic will be held post Covid.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials/Donations may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Schaumburg.
