Anna Louise Schmiedeke, 74, of 537 Linden Avenue, San Bruno, died at Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame Wednesday.

Mrs. Schmiedeke was the mother of Mrs. Rose L. Cunningham, wife of San Bruno's police chief, Russell Cunningham, and Mrs. Ruth O. Craig, also of San Bruno.

Her husband William G. Schmiedeke; a son Maj. William G. Schmiedeke Jr., of the Sharp Army Depot at Lathrop; a sister, Sophie Armstrong of San Mateo; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

A native of Hawaii, Mrs. Schmiedeke had lived in San Mateo County for 67 years.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the San Bruno funeral home, with the Rev. John Flucke of St. John's United Church officiating. Interment will be in Olivet Memorial Park.
