Johnalee Crawford Suter, Suter, 85, of Gainesville, Missouri died January 20, 2021 at Gainesville Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville, Missouri on Monday, January 25, 2021 with visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m., burial at Howards Ridge Cemetery.

Johnalee was born February 6, 1935 in Howards Ridge, Missouri the daughter of John and Mabel (Stutsman) Crawford. She took much pride in being raised at her family country store and loved to reminisce on those simpler times. Johnalee was a Gainesville High School graduate at just 16 years old. She then moved to Kansas City to pursue a career in photo engraving. She married Leo Suter on May 12, 1954 in Yankton, South Dakota. In 1955 they welcomed their first born son, Mark Suter. In 1957, they had their second son, Kent Suter.

Johnalee enjoyed selling real estate here, in the Ozarks. For several years she worked side-by-side with her husband, Leo, in their family owned trucking business. She was a devoted Christian lady who enjoyed attending Sunday services at Lilly Ridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by son Mark Suter and wife Rhonda, son Kent Suter all of Gainesville, Missouri; grandsons Cole Suter and wife Kristy, Shane Suter and Sara Jo all of Theodosia, Missouri, Brandon Robbins of Prosper, Texas; great granddaughter Kursten (Suter) Hamm and husband Brad, great grandson John Westley Suter and wife Taylor, great granddaughters Lauren, Lakyn and Laney Suter all of Gainesville, Missouri, great grandsons Corbin and Ellis Suter, great granddaughter Timber Suter, great grandsons Connor Tumlinson and Lance Day, great grandson Byron Robbins; great-great grandsons Colt and Cord Hamm of Gainesville, Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Leo; grandsons John and Seth Suter; siblings Chlorine, Thurlo and Bernadene.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Howards Ridge Cemetery.
