Death of a Pioneer - John Donner, an old pioneer of Oregon, died at his residence, corner Fifth and Sherman street in this city at 2 o'clock yesterday morning. He came to Oregon in 1850, and had reached nearly four score and ten years. His brother was leader of the party which met with the sad and well-known calamity near the lake in California which now bears his name. The funeral will take place from his late residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
