Our sweet mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend, Carma Craig Davis, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 17, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 11, 1943, in Payson, Utah, and raised by loving parents, Wayne and Beth Craig. She attended school in Santaquin and Payson, graduating from Payson High in 1961. She was the third of five siblings, all of whom preceded her in death.

She married her sweetheart, J. Vance Davis, on September 8, 1961, in Las Vegas, NV. They were later sealed for time and all eternity. They had been married for 42 years, when Vance passed away in 2003.

She was an active member of The Church of a Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Carma worked for Nebo School District as a Lunch Services Manager for 30 years, serving lunch to numerous school kids and making many lifelong friends. After retirement, she joined the Spanish Fork Senior Citizens, which she enjoyed, and added many more good friends to her list.

She loved to travel and enjoyed many trips with close friends and family. She treasured the trips to Disneyland with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always there to support her grandchildren in all they did, including baseball games, basketball games, FFA or dance competitions. She spent countless hours doing genealogy and loved researching her family history. She was part of the “Knotty Knitters” group for many years, and her talent of knitting showed in the many special items she made for family and friends.

Carma truly lived a life of quiet service. She was fiercely dedicated to the happiness of her family, but she also gave selfless service to the citizens of Salem City and donated countless hours towards the Lions Club, Salem Days, and Easter egg hunts. She was always willing to help anyone who was in need.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Davis; her son, Laine (Hollie) Davis; 7 grandchildren: Gunner (Chelsea) Steele, Klay (Crysta) Steele, Rowdy Steele, Bowdy (Kambrie) Steele, Austin Davis, Jordan (Marisa Nielsen) Davis, and Kelcee Davis; 9 great-grandchildren: Kaylon and Cambry Steele, Bentley Gurney, Raygun and Tuff Steele, Legend Steele, Grace and Gentrie Davis, and Georgia Simmons. She is proceeded in death by her parents; brothers and sister Gerald (Connie) Craig, DeVerl (Ann) Craig, Carl (Janet) Craig, and Michelle Craig Liefson.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Canyon Home Care & Hospice: Katie, Tom, Melanie, Chelsea, Jace, and Clark, whose kindness blessed Carma and her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Salem City Cemetery.
