Lawrence “Larry” A. Bishop, 78, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021.

Larry was born on December 16, 1942, in Mansfield, to Alan and Betty (Bricker) Bishop. He married Geraldine on June 10, 1988, and she survives. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Larry was a retired employee of Ideal Electric and owner B&B Cycle from 1983 to 2014. He loved motorcycles, used to race them and enjoyed country music and dancing the Texas 2-step. Larry was a previous member of the Moose and American Legion; and was a lifetime member of Mansfield Motorcycle Club and AMA (American Motorcycle Association).

Along with his wife, Geraldine, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda Bishop of Columbus; step-son, Greg Reed of Mansfield; brother, William (Joyce) Bishop of Mansfield; sisters, Rebecca (Dick) Tittlebaugh and Sarah (Rick) Nesta, both of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Elaine Bishop of Kansas City, MO; and several numerous nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dave Bishop.

Private graveside services will be held at Mansfield Cemetery with full military honors performed by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
