Mr. Spangler collected his jury pay and set out to celebrate the end of jury duty with a night on the town. He was found the next morning, robbed and badly beaten, lying in the road. He died a few days later. His killer never found.

Mr. Spangler doesn’t have a grave marker so I went to where, according to cemetery records, he is buried, and I marked where the grave is using GPS.
