Dies at home of gransdon:
Mrs. Mary Jane Hufford, 86, widow of Eli Hufford, died last night at 9:25 at the home of her grandson, Walter Claypool, Gibsonburg, following an extended illness of complications of old age.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist Church of which she was a member. The pastor, Rev. R. M. Dibble, will officiate and burial will be in Washington Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Hufford was born in Washington Township, and lived there and in Gibsonburg her entire life.
A brother, Joseph Herr, lives in Gibsonburg and a sister Hannah is in Akron. Four sons, James Washington Township, Bert, Dell and Elmer of Gibsonburg, 16 grand-children and seven great grand-children also survive.
Mrs. Hufford was one of the best known pioneers of this vicinity and a large circle of friends will mourn her death.
