Dorothy (Niedzwiecki, Grocki) DiSarro, 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 23, 2006. Dorothy was born to the late Walter and Olga (Schubert) Niedzwiecki in New Britain. Dorothy is survived by her four children, Russell Grocki of Burke, VA; Janet Lynch of West Hartford; Thomas Grocki of South Burlington, VT; and Laurel Kamarunas of Downingtown, PA; her Aunt Frances Dombroskas of New Britain; and 11 grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Rosalie Grocki. Dorothy was an active member of the Joyful Sound and Our Lady of Sorrows Church choirs. She loved to sing and dance. She touched many lives in her work at Old Saybrook High School for the past 20 years, most recently as the Principal's Secretary.
A church service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Essex. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt Street in New Britain.
