Helen Marie Shadoan, 96, of Lynchburg, VA passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late James Tate Shadoan.
Born on December 15, 1921 in Creston, Iowa, she was the last remaining child of the late Joseph Clyde Cornielison and the late Cora Benson Cornielison. Helen graduated from Southwestern Community College in Creston, IA and retired from the Veteran's Administration. Helen and her husband moved to Somerset, KY in 1978 and then she moved Virginia in 1995 to be with her son. She was a lover of books, history and jazz music and she was of the Methodist faith.
Helen will be inurned at Somerset Cemetery in Somerset, KY at a later date.
