Dorothy worked as the scan coordinator for Homeland and Albertson for over 25 years. For most of those 25 years she also worked at H&R Block as a tax preparer. In her younger years, Dorothy enjoyed racing motorcycles. In 1980 her first grandchild was born, and she became Mommo, the name she was known by to virtually everyone. She loved to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their sporting events and was their biggest fan. She enjoyed traveling all over and camping with her family in places all over the country. Recently her favorite place to travel was Branson, Missouri with her late husband Willard.
