James C. Herd 75, of Clever, MO passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born on August 20, 1945 in Ava, MO.
James graduated from Ava High School in Ava, MO. He served in the USMC 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion in Vietnam. He worked and retired from Kraft Foods.
He is survived by his three sons, Timothy Herd and wife Ashley Herd, Chris Davis and wife Audrey Davis, and Eric Herd; eight grandchildren; sister Mary Jane Bruffett and family; sister-in-law Wanda Herd and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patty (Thomas) Herd and brother Larry Herd.
A graveside service at Brookline Cemetery (W. Farm Road 156 Brookline, MO) on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 with military honors.
