Mrs. Helen B; Waters, 73, died early today after heart surgery performed at Merritt Hospital, Oakland, yesterday. Mrs. Waters was the widow of, George Waters and made her home at 222 Fourth St., Petaluma. She was a native of Texas and after living for a number of years in Arizona, made her home for 30 years in Bakersfield. She had been a resident of Petaluma for 12 years, and worked at Carithers before retiring a few years ago. Mrs. Waters was the mother of Sam Waters of San Francisco, E. B. Waters and Mrs. Louise McCray of Petaluma. She was the grandmother of Florence j Brandin of San Gabriel, Barbara j Loomis of San Luis Obispo, Michael Waters and Mark McCray J of Petaluma: great grandmoth er of Bobby Brandin, Dan, Pat and Julie Loomis. She was the sister of Allie Beatty of Texline, Tex.; Effie Ziegler and Miller Bowen of Oklahoma and Lorena Dilbeck of Redwood City. Funeral services will be held at the Parent Funeral Chapel, 216 Washington St., Tuesday at 2 p.m. Entombment will be at Cypress Hill Mausoleum. .
