The funeral for Max Eldon Miller, Jr., 65 will be at 12:30 PM Wednesday March 6, 2019 at First Baptist Church, Crescent officiate by John Lovett. Burial will be at 3:00 PM at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Max was born at Kingfisher on February 5, 1954 to Max E. and Barbara Jo Weber Miller and died Friday March 1, 2019 at Cimarron Nursing Home in Kingfisher.

He married Cindy Valliquette in Crescent on Nov. 7, 1981. Max served on the Crescent Fire Department from 1980 until he retired in 1996.

He is survived by two daughters Ann Harris and husband T. C. of Hennessey, Mary Harris of Dover; four grandchildren Brooklyn Harris, Eldon Harris, Payton Harris, Caroline Harris; one brother Larry Miller and wife Diana of Hennessey; one sister Donna Barker and husband Gene of Crescent; father-inlaw and mother-in-law Earl and Susie Valliquette of Crescent; and numerous extended family members.

Max was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cindy, one brother and one sister.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Crescent Fire Dept. with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
