Joan Patricia Boyd Miller, 80, of Macon passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Michael Rogers officiating.

Mrs. Miller was born in Jasper Alabama on September 4, 1940 to the late Millard and Medie Boyd.

She was married to the love of her life Harold Miller, and together they built a wonderful home. She was a homemaker all her life, raising three children. In her free time, she like watching soap operas, and getting out and about, or “running the streets” as her family called it. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, and was known for making her famous Biscuits and Gravy. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She as preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years; Harold Miller, a son; Bobby Joe Miller, and 5 siblings; Marine Hunter, Athealene Akins, William Boyd, John Boyd, and Evelyn Meyers.

Left to cherish her memory is her children; Ricky Miller (Melony), Linda Miller, and Michael Miller (Nikki). Grandchildren; Brittany Miller, Christina Marin (German), Jessica Campbell (Gage), Tristin Mosely, Grayson Mosely, Lauren Miller, and Grant Miller. Great grandchildren; Kennedy Solomon, Gavin Solomon, and Julian Marin. As well as two nieces; Katherine Brown, and Shirley Gilmore.
