Phyllis W. Feasel, 96, passed away January 6, 2021. She was born in Moretown, Vermont on August 2, 1924 to Leon Arthur Emond and Hattie Machia Emond. The family settled in Orange, Vermont. Phyllis moved at age 17 to Hartford, Connecticut. There she met and married Gilbert Emond on February 11, 1942. They were married for 38 years until his death in 1980. Phyllis worked for many years at Royal Typewriter in Connecticut. After her retirement she moved to Ocala, Florida with her brother Albert and sister-in-law Olive Emond. They settled in a retirement community named Pine Run. Here she met and married Ralph Feasel. They were married for 19 years until his death in 2008. She and Ralph took part in many of the community activities. Phyllis enjoyed playing cards with the girls. She also enjoyed golfing, dancing, bowling and bingo. She and Ralph traveled over much of the U.S. She was very active until shortly before passing. Phyllis was pre-deceased by her two husbands. Also by her brothers Leon, Albert, Stanley and Duane Emond, also one sister Erlene Ryan. She also had two sisters living, Thelma Godreau from Walpole, New Hampshire, and Eunice Houle from Inverness, Florida. Phyllis had many nieces and nephews, especially Billy and Kathy Emond, David and Linda Emond, and Kenny and Sandy Emond, who helped Phyllis out a great deal during her aging years. Phyllis and Ralph attended the Ocala United Methodist Church. Phyllis’s remains will be buried in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

No services will be held at this time due mostly to the Covid 19 virus. A later date will be planned for a service in memory of Phyllis. Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, is in charge of the arrangements.
