Donald Lee Bitler,78 was born on February 2, 1929 in Emporia, Kansas. After a long illness, he passed away at home on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. Don was a former truck driver, driving from coast to coast. He enjoyed playing dominoes, bowling and coon hunting. He loved animals especially, dogs.
One of Don's most important accomplishments came late in life, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of the home, a special step granddaughter, Bethany Grimes of Idabel and his loveable dog, Rosie.
Services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Doug Clements officiating. Interment will follow at Denison Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Jim Norwood Funeral Home.
