Joel Malicoat, 82 years old, died Friday about 230 p.m. at his home south of Freeman, a victim of hardening of the arteries and complications. He had been ill for some time. He is survived by his widow and three sons, two living at Linton and one near the home place. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Little Flock Church and interment was made in the Gross cemetery.
