Goldia May Biggs, 93, Chanute, KS, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 15, 2007, at the Fredonia Regional Hospital in Fredonia, Kansas.

She was born Aug. 4, 1914, in Altoona, Kansas, to Harvey Wray and Emma Frances (Shoemaker) Pierce.

She married Henry S. Biggs on Aug. 4, 1935, at Erie, Kansas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1993.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chanute, her Sunday School Class, A.B.W. Ministries and Church Circle.

Survivors include a brother, Earl Pierce, Dodge City, KS; a sister, Sylvia Anderes, Neodesha, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, Kansas.
