Thomas J. Deppisch, born Jan. 5, 1943, in Port Washington, Wis., died on Jan. 4, 2021, at age 77. He passed away peacefully at George C. Forsythe Hospice House, Auburndale, Fla., with family members at his bedside.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Laurie (Whittle); brothers Jack (Judy) of Menomonee Falls, Bob (Jackie) of Random Lake and Jerry (Sue) of Franklin, Wis.; sisters Mary Ann (Ted) Meljac of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Juli (Freeman) Neal of Vista, Calif.; dear daughter Jennifer Monroy of Mexico; and stepson Matthew Scheuers of Markesan, Wis.

He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and four loving grandchildren, Alex, Taylyn, Tenley and Marshall.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Adeline (Bares) Deppisch.

Tom served in the Air Force. In the past, Tom bartended at Pandl’s in Bayside and Bavarian Wurst Haus, Milwaukee. He was the first owner of the Farmstead Restaurant, Cedarburg. Later he worked at Mequon Country Club and Ozaukee Country Club.

He was a people person with a unique sense of humor. He loved the fresh Florida strawberries from Plant City and enjoyed living at Lake Henry Estates community, Haines City, Fla., for the past 4-1/2 years. Tom truly enjoyed Port Washington, Wis., and had many stories to tell and reminisce about.
