Graveside service for Minnie L. Hensley, 79, of Danville will be today, May 7, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Salter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be today from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hensley, who died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at her residence, was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Lawrence County to Torence Ledlow and Kneely Wilburn Ledlow. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Her parents; and her husband, Alvie "Bud" Hensley, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Hensley and his wife, Stacy, of Decatur and Rickey Hensley and his wife, Pat, of Falkville; three daughters, Gail McCaghren and her husband, Jimmy, of Danville, Kathy Garner and her husband, Larry, of Hartselle and Vickie Parker of Somerville; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jill Vanvoorst and Hospice of the Valley.
