Obituary

Esther Lee Mirvis, 101, of Columbus, died at 4:53 AM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Kensington Place, Columbus. She was born March 25, 1920 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Michael and Tillie Shenker Schahet. Esther retired from RG Barry Corporation after 14 years of service. She was a member of Beth Abraham Synagogue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mirvis, a brother Harold Schahet and two sisters, Bessie Covitt and Jennie Abrams.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Beth Abraham Jewish Cemetery, Rehl Road, Zanesville with Rabbi Cary Kozberg officiating.
