Lola Katherine Williams Dale, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2021. Katherine was born on May 20, 1925 in Celina, Tennessee to the late Dora Willett and Paul Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Landon B. Anderson; her beloved husband of 65 years, Albert Jackson Dale, Jr., who passed away on November 9, 2007.
Katherine was a former member of the Centennial Club, Richland and Hillwood Country Clubs, The Fannie Battle Day Home and West End Church of Christ. In her active years, she was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, accomplished homemaker, gardener and talented cook. Her greatest joy in life stemmed from her family. Dearly known to her family as Kaka, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who delighted in the lives and activities of her family. Most of all, Kaka instilled in her children strong values of character and conviction that have served them well. Katherine was a woman of strong faith, who was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by a daughter, Jody Dale Corley (Paul), a son, Albert J. Dale, III (Margie), her brother, Dr. Landon B. Anderson (Connie), her five grandchildren, Jason P. Corley (Leigh Ann), Jessica Corley Jones (Brett), A. Jackson Dale, IV (Tiffany), Andrew H. Dale and Bryan S. Dale (Haley); her twelve great-grandchildren, Clare, Campbell and Corley Jones, Jack and Caroline Corley, Harper, Shaffer, Sara Paige, Liza, Mills, Reid and Albert J. Dale, V;
Also survived by niece, Dr. Tinsley Anderson (Daniel) and nephews, Luke B. and Landon B. Anderson, III (Susan).
