Flint, MI - Albert B. Gmelin, 44, 2211 Hill street. Flint, Mich., died unexpectedly January 8 in St. Joseph hospital, there following a heart attack.
Gmelin was a son of Mrs. Alta Gmelin, Fort Plain RD 5 and a brother of Reuel Gmelin, Stratford.
He married Marie Josephine Hanssen on Feb. 18, 1928 in Brant, Ont. His wife survives.
He was born in Huxley, la., February 14. 1905 and had lived in Flint for 23 years, going there from Brantford, Ont. He was employed in the personnel department of the AC Sparkplug company, Flint and was a member of the Masonic order there.
The funeral was held in Flint and the body was taken to Mount Hope cemetery in Brantford, Ontario for burial. Canajoharie Courier Standard, Thursday, February 2, 1950
