Sheryl Ashman Taylor was born in Murray, Utah on December 13, 1940. She was the third daughter of Harold and Verda Ashman. She passed away on January 3, 2021. Sheryl leaves her husband of 58 years, Malcolm Dent Taylor and her 5 children and 20 beloved grandchildren. Sheryl and Dent were sealed for eternity in the Manti, Utah temple. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many callings of teaching and leadership. She lovingly supported and sustained her husband in his church service assignments. She served with her husband as a patron and worker in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She was an avid and accomplished genealogist and maker of beautiful memory books. Her greatest joy and happiness in life was being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was determined to help them obtain the best possible opportunities in this life. Her warm and beautiful smile, her loving and generous service, her sweet and cheerful voice, and her devotion to family will always be remembered. Those who knew her loved her and were enriched by her love. Her testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ and of his atoning sacrifice for us all was strong and unwavering. She leaves a legacy of faith, love, and service.
